We love this pub, food is always great, staff are lovely, drinks good too. However, I do wish that they would smarten the place up a little, some work has been done, but that carpet is so old and dirty, one's shoes stick to it in places. It is a tad off-putting.

Food is cheap and cheerful and the staff are friendly. For a family meal out it's fine, though I wouldn't go there for a special occasion.

Lovely food, home coojed and reasonably priced. Decor could do with a spruce up.

We called in here with our eldest Granddaughter and her friend. Getting the drinks at the bar turned out to be the highlight of the evening, all downhill from there. We waited and waited to place our orders (should have taken the clue!). We waited for an age before our meals came staff seemed stressed. We were not the only customers getting agitated by the wait either. When it arrived the food quality was poor to say the least. I've been in here before when it was busier and the food was much better. It'll be a while before I return, if ever!?
