Great experience and food! Went for dinner on Saturday. We hadn’t booked a table so ordered at the bar. The food came out really quickly. The portions were a decent size and the food was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Nice resturant with a lovely interior, staff were very helpful and were willing to adapt meals to specific needs. We came a a large group, both kids and adults. Unfortunately the food was a let down in some areas, firstly they were missing 7 or 8 items off the menu. The food arrived luke warm not hot. Price was good overall, about £130 for 7 people with dessert and alcohol. Would come again to see if the food was better.
Fantastic experience and special thanks to Ruby! Went here for a birthday meal. Was welcomed in and immediately seated. The food came quickly and the portion sizes were generous. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I also have to mention the cheesy garlic bread which was honestly the best I've ever tasted! We were served by Ruby who was delightful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and is a credit to the restaurant! We had a lovely evening so thank you!
Had a lovely meal here recently, was a Sunday afternoon and though it was very busy, the staff were on top of things. Enjoyed an excellent roast beef meal and everyone enjoyed their meals from our group. We visit this restaurant maybe twice a year, and one thing they really have in their favour is consistency, I always know we'll have a good meal here.
We had been to a funeral and wanted something to eat and this place has been good for quite a while now. I'm pleased to say that normal service was resumed. We were warmly welcomed, and quickly shown to a table. The young waitress named Ruby was very friendly, polite and efficient. The food quickly arrived and all plates were left empty which tells a very positive message to the chef. We will definitely return in the near future. Thank you.
Went for a meal with my family on a Saturday night was packed and I can see why food was amazing best chicken burger I have ever eaten and great service our waitress Georgia was very kind and accommodating. The pub layout is good and has a good outdoor play area aswell as meeting all dietary requirements .
Love this place. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Warm and comfy setting, would recommend this pub to anyone.
Went here for a get together with friends and to try the festive menu. I have to say the food was lovely, served quickly there was 12 of us and really good value for money. We had a really good night here. Staff were welcoming, cheery, helpful and polite, just whats needed from a good restaurant/bar. Thank you so much for feeding and taking care of a rowdy bunch of people, who chose The Two Watermills to reunite after quite a while apart. What a laugh we all had. A brilliant night in an accommodated restaurant. Many Thanks, see you again soon
We walked in without booking and was given a table straightaway. Our waitress Ruby was brilliant with our children and was very polite. Can not fault her at all. All 4 of our meals were lovely and cooked to perfection. we have been before and will definitely be returning.
Still looking at the bowl of my overpriced lunch from 3 Hours ago. And don’t get me started on the glassware of the most expensive SanMiguel in Newbury. AVOID.
