Lovely pub. Nice gardens outside with seating. It is a lovely traditional country pub inside with great food and friendly, helpful staff. Portion sizes are great and the specials were fantastic. Good beer and wine selection. Would definitely recommend.
I would recommend this pub. Clean, lovely inside, cosy bar as well as larger dining areas. Pretty garden at the back, umbrellas for shade, a cute bridge over a stream. Tasty garlic bread with cheese and the chips were good too. Dogs welcome as are children. Vegetarian options: Tasty veggie options. Kid-friendliness: Children welcome. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Wonderful place! Beautiful building, great food & fabulous staff.!... the first experience was me turning up with my dog, too late for food service, but lovely, welcoming Scottish lady sorted out a huge bowl of home-made soup & granary bread anyway!.. as well as a bowl of water for pooch. So I came back with friends the following day at lunchtime to have the full choice of menu & wasn't disappointed! This place is on my favourites list.
Went for a light snack and we all chose the Classic Prawn Cocktail which was pretty good 10/10 and we all enjoyed it. Staff were great and we all loved the place. Will definitely return and have a full meal!

Wonderful old building, but didn't spend much time inside as the garden is gorgeous with a tiny stream running through it. A lovely place to relax on a sunny afternoon.
Best in this place is the landlords. So nice and friendly, they accommodated our large group, dog friendly, came with some treats for the dog. We did not eat but impressed with the portions we saw delivered to other patrons. We'll definitely come back.
Lovely location and massive carpark. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Dog Friendly too with a really pretty outside seating area. Would highly recommend
Ate here 2 nights ago. Chicken pie was a pastry lid not encased in pastry which I think a proper pie should be but it was nice. Service good. Drinks were a little pricey but good choice.Food: 4/5
overall, would definitely go back.. the owners/management were lovely, very friendly,food was lovely and homemade which I especially enjoyed. Can't really slate the atmosphere as I attended on a quiet day. would. be absolutely lovely outside when the weather is good.Food: 4/5
