Popped in for lunch on 23/09 we both had a steak n ale pie and 2 lagers under £20. The meals were fantastic a lovely thick crust and lashings of gravy. The staff were friendly and attentive, definitely pop in again if in Louth.

Had a fantastic night out considering louth is so small. It's not a huge club like everywhere else but still very fun. Drinks are priced well.

I like the location for town centre. The inside is quite traditional and reasonably clean. The pathment area though can be very scruffy. Shame as on a sunny dry day its nice to sit outside but alas the smokers put me off. The food was good though as was the barmaid.

The bar staff Rachael ? was a star. Her advice and total professional way helped to make our day even more very special.We shall return...please give Rachael a payrise and hold onto her as if you do not....a big outfit will 'headhunt'.

Unfortunately we visited this pub during renovations and were shoehorned into the small area just off the bar for a weekday lunch. The selection was good, the portions were generous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The ambience was the only disappointing aspect so it may be much improved after renovation.

Staff very friendly, nice drink at reasonable prices.

It's an average place we sometimes pop into on the way home from a night out, but it's not somewhere we actively visit.  We stopped the other day for a couple and without a doubt they didn't put any alcohol in with our mixers.  I suppose places are trying to claw the money back they've lost over lockdown but we were nowhere near drunk enough not to realise that our double vodkas were clearly just coca cola.    If we ever drop in again we'll only being ordering bottles

Fantastic place, the staff are friendly and under the circumstances I could not praise them enough. Everything is covid safe. Nice place to drink with a good atmosphere. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
