We were visiting Oxford for my birthday in September - couldn't miss the Tavern! Not much has changed in 15 years since I left Oxford, but I understand that not much has changed in a few hundred years since this place was first built. Amazing atmosphere - definitely worth paying a visit.

It tastes as boring and dry as it looks. I would expect more from historical pub in central Oxford. Especially after trying out some pubs in Bath this one is an insult.

Good find. Persevere in trying to find it. It's  behind the road in the middle of the houses. Look for Bath House Hotel or similar. Quirky, old pub with low ceilings - Watch your head from the get go... I can only think of 7 people who would not need to duck. P.s. They sell Neck Oil and Punk IPA - if for no other reason....

A staple in Oxford pub scene! Always a pleasure to stop by for a fish and chips and a pint. Lovely atmosphere and great food!

Very small historical pub tucked away in the city centre of Oxford. Food is great and they have a variety of interesting drinks you might not find elsewhere. Would recommend to anyone visiting
