The Old Tom Pub

Story

A literal stone's throw from Carfax, the crossroads that marks the centre of the city of Oxford, Old Tom has provided a welcome watering hole for Oxford's town and gown since at least the end of the 17th century.

In its three or so centuries of history, Old Tom has enjoyed many faces. Today it is a unique experience that perfectly combines old world English pub sensibilities with the very best in Thai cuisine.

Genuinely the best Thai food you'll eat outside of Thailand!!! I brought my friends & family there in 2018 and they all still talk about how good the food was : Lovely pub in general !
Pleasant waitress, nice atmosphere, traditional British food fish&chips with pretty good Thai options. Several draught beers, Stella Artois cold... better than other pubs. Close to Christ Church College and Cathedral. Fair prices.
Very friendly and welcoming little pub, all covid restrictions working and adhered to.
Some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand.
Old school pub with good selection of beers and excellent Thai food.
Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good beers and very very nice food.
Loved this place and the delicious Thai food. A perfect place for lunch when exploring Oxford. An excellent choice of ciders too.
