Quiet on a Monday lunchtime, but the warm welcome promised by the owners was there, and appreciated. Set in a run-down but fantastically historic part of town, anyone who remembers the giant animated / illuminated Harris Brushes sign from the 50s maybe to the late 70s? will understand, and the evidence of more affluent Victorian times is still here if you lift your eyes above the inevitable vape and kebab shops. Step off the tram and go for a pint, they deserve your support.
Super cozy place and incredibly nice staff. Drinks were good and fairly priced. Dog friendly as well - which is great.Service: 5/5
A must prematch. Sure there are other places but this is a proper sing song so if you want to learn a few new ones, go here. Beer is decently priced, nothing silly. Washrooms are a bit rough but what do you expect.
Excellent selection of drinks available, atmosphere difficult as one side of manchester doing OK whilst the other more subdued. Food wise not so sure If it's available but beer wise it is well looked after.Service: 5/5
Go here occasionally when I’m down to watch Manchester United from Northumberland. It’s very close to the tram stop so it’s ideal if you’re either arriving at Manchester centre or as I do drive to Brooklands Park & ride.Sale and then get the Metro to Trafford bar have a couple of pints and walk to the ground.Food: 4/5
I went on a Sunday as usual. Shame they don't do food other than crisps/nuts on a Sunday as I would definitely buy. I didn't see any menus or cutlery/condiments and didn't smell any food so I assume this is correct.Service: 4/5
Delicious grub at this pub. Couldn't fault the dirty chilli burger. The other meal was my daughters vegetarian Yorkshire platter.
It's a fine pub if you're nearby. The atmosphere is generally OK on non-match days for a pub that mainly serves the football crowd. There is a lack of hand pumps for ales sadly. Parking: Large amount of parking to the right of main entrance. Near the outdoor drinking area.
Called in here after getting off tram as staying near by. It was welcoming and we enjoyed our evening here
Nice large pub right outside Trafford bar tram stop. Good match day experience as the pub only allows only united fans in and has bouncers on the doors and outside to make sure things are safe. Outside area itself is large enough for the pub size and also includes a car park for those driving. The pub itself is also only 15 mins away from the stadium. It has good United decore inside too makes it very homely. The beer prices are very fair too, really couldn't grumble at the prices. A must for united fans before the game
