This is situated in a lovely canal side seeing. There is inside and outside seating. The food was delicious and not overpriced. The quality was excellent. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Range of draught beers as well as soft drinks. An old fashioned but delightful ambience as well. Highly recommended

Good choice of ales on offer. Prefer this place in summer so you can sit outside. Very cramped inside the bar area. The barstaff could do with giving us a smile once in a whilst? Didn't feel welcomed at all even though we frequent this place quite regularly. Seem to care more for folk having a meal? Sad really.

Just a shame the lovely setting doesn't match the awfull food and the rude staff. Long wait for food, no apologies off the staff or management. Ok for a couple of beers take outside in warmer weather and admire the scenery.

Would not go again... Took 1 and half hours to get mediocre food. Bar staff lacking knowledge, ran out of food, changed our order without telling us, food very greasy, cheese and onion pie was slightly flavoured mashed potato with soggy pastry top. Some people just walked out. We only paid for drinks. Food not good enough to pay for. Staff did not even question our decision, it was like they are used to complaints. Most disappointing meal we have attempted to eat in a long time.
