Story

We are a group of ordinary people of various ages and backgrounds who have come to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. We believe that Jesus gives everyone the opportunity for new life when they put their trust in him and purpose to live under his lordship, empowered by his Spirit.

We hold to an evangelical Christian belief, accepting the Bible as God's Word and placing ourselves under its authority.

We also recognise that faith is a journey and welcome folks all along the path to worship with us.

We are part of the worldwide Free Methodist Church, with congregations in over 70 nations. And we are members of the Evangelical Alliance.

Mission

At GFMC our aim is to build real relationships – with God and with one another – that spill out to impact surrounding communities. We are blessed to have people of all ages and many walks of life worshipping together.

As an evangelical church we strive to live under the authority of the Scriptures, are open to the Holy Spirit, and believe God not only forgives us in Jesus Christ, but begins to really transform our lives.
