Very sorry to say not a good Sunday lunch, a long wait for food which arrived slopped onto cold plates. Staff young and inexperienced, won't be returning as also expensive. Whitebait at £5.95 for 14 pieces (fresh is £4.90 per half kilo!)

Amazing service, we had my friends 30th dinner  here and all of us had an amazing starter, main & dessert. Presentation was beautiful & the food was tasty & great quality.  I had the duck spring rolls, chicken supreme 
& banoffee pie. Highly recommended

Excellent food as always, at a reasonable price and delectable well-kept Harvey's beer. Staff are lovely, looking after my slightly ageing parents with affection and tact. The place is a quintessential Sussex pub, beautiful and unspoilt. I love it here
