Lovely friendly pub , great food and cocktails and very reasonably priced. My partner said his chicken ham and leek pie was the best he had ever tasted. All our was cooked fresh and delicious! We didn’t realise how far we would have to walk from where our campervan was parked at Horam Manor, unlit road without path in places … but was worth the trip. No cabs, no internet and was dreading the walk home with our 4 month old pup who couldn’t walk all the way there… the Landlord dropped us back! So grateful. though this isn’t the norm, so pre- book a cab if you can! Great place to walk to in the daylight! Thoroughly recommend
I just popped in with my dog whilst on a walk down the cuckoo line, I’ve been meaning to for ages and wish I had sooner - what a lovely atmosphere, a warm welcome and friendly locals - the vegetarian roast was amazing - one of the best I’ve had and there were loads of other options on the menu that tempted me, I will definitely be back
A good variety on the menu at reasonable prices. Two drinks and three courses for two of us for £40. Food presented nicely.

A lovely atmospheric pub. Went for a Sunday Roast. Ordered one pork and one beef. Very delicious. Accept the potatoes. Hard and chemical tasting. But despite that minor issue. It was value for money. Staff were welcoming. Highly recommend.

Lovely couple of pints of Gun Scaramanga and Parabellum, after a cracking stroll along the Cuckoo Trail. Just what the doctor ordered after the excesses of Christmas!!
We went to an Open Mic night at The Runt in Tun on a Saturday evening. It's not a big pub and it was pretty packed. People were eating dinners and looked happy with their food. The music was varied and fun.
Great little pub on the edge of heathfield. Friendly welcome. Outside seating very nice area with different levels. Nice ambient lighting at night. My son and I both had burgers which were really nice with fresh bread rolls at a good price. Kids play area at rear of garden. All in all a nice pub.
Best pub in heathfield, friendly staff, good food, good prices, pool table and darts. what more could i want.
