Not a bad pub as such. Quite a good variety of beers, lagers and ciders. Quite expensive for drinks. The food is passable but reasonably priced. Sometimes can take ages to get served. Men toilets are often flooded. Wish they would wipe the bar and tables more often and clear away the dirty glasses. There are some good people that use this pub, and I have made quite a few good friends. There are also a few witches that drink excessively in here at weekends, and think they own the place. Take no notice of them, they are not worth worrying about, as well past their sale by dates. Would recommend trying the pub.

Good pub with half set aside for pub food. The other half has a number of screens that show sport. Great atmosphere if you like to watch football. Friendly crowd. The food looks great but I didn't actually have any.

Myself and two friends had a fantastic meal on Saturday evening. The food was excellent and Pete the manager and his bar staff were very friendly and service was excellent especially as the Pub was very busy. I would recommend the menu and the prices were very reasonable Will be back there again soon Diane

Lost its way over the past few years. Landlord doesn’t care too much. About customer service , lack of staff all the time. All the pub appears to worry about is profit. Outside tables and chairs all warped at weird angles, trees overgrown outside effecting the sunlight , so you can’t even sit in the sun. Food is good , such a shame .....

Not bad but far from great! My partner and I visited for Sunday lunch, as expected the place was very busy. Most staff however were very helpful and efficient others were not so good and barely managed a grunt in our direction. The food was priced well and we had 3 courses for £11.99. To start we had breaded mushrooms which were lovely, and we were served pretty fast, the roast however was not so good. Rock solid roast potatoes, vegetables were pretty bland, some overcooked and some quite hard! The beef was ok but the rest was not great. However it was hot when it arrived to our table which is more than can be said for other places. For dessert we had salted caramel profiteroles and ice cream which was delicious. Unfortunately there was a large crowd and you could barely have a conversation without shouting at each other. All in all ok but nothing to write home about.
