Very nice Local pub. Atmosphere was pretty good for a Tuesday night, however got quiet quickly - they do however show the football. Very good wine selection - reasonable pricing. We only had sharers for food, however these were a little underwhelming and not quite worth the pricing at £9.99 with £4.50 for pulled pork extra on the nachos. Brilliant service however, staff were friendly and helpful.
Just moved back into the area and my wife and I weren't keen to cook, after the moving, so we popped in to The Willow Tree.nnSo glad we did!!!! We were made to feel very welcome by Mitch and all of the other staff.nnIt was a Monday evening so we decided to try the Pizza and drink offer.nn10/10!! I had the Meat Lovers and my wife had the spicy chicken, both with a glass of their house red.nIt was excellent.nnWe've subsequently been back for the Wednesday Curry and drink special and Thursday's Steak and drink special.nWe upgraded our steaks to the Sirloin.nn3 night's, 3 GREAT meals, 3 amazing sets of staff.nnWE'VE FOUND OUR LOCAL
The new menu is a huge improvement to the previous one, and Emma is much friendlier than the last landlord. Food was good for weekday treat. My burger was almost like the picture on the menu,and Pizza’s has definitely grown in size too!
Lovely pub, food & staff are a lot nicer now there is new management. The only thing we could fault yesterday was the guy singing, he wasn't too good. Bring back Rookie:nThanks for a lovely meal.nHope you got the Christmas sign up eventually:
The food was very tasty and not too expensive. The drinks were good too and the overall vibe was lovely!
