Only stopped off for a drink as the last time we went for a meal it was not a good experience. Had heard there was a new owner so thought we would have a look. Anyway met at bar with a very warm welcome from barman.  Asked to take seat and drinks brought over. Very relaxing warm atmosphere.  Next time will try food.

My daughter has Coeliacs and is also lactose intoĺerant. The Thatch offers a gluten free menu and the chef came to her to discuss what ingredients she could have and which to avoid. Absolutely first class service from this beautiful 15th Century Inn.

Arguably the best Sunday roast I've had. Followed up with banana cheesecake. Fantastic food!

My husband and I where treated out for a evening meal by my sister in law.
  Each of our dishes were absolutely delicious. We found the staff really friendly, the service was excellent, the  atmosphere was nice and relaxed. 
We would highly recommend anyone to visit The Thatch for a enjoyable evening out.

A fantastic place, the food is excellent, the staff friendly and knowledgeable.The choice of beers and the atmosphere is superb, I would recommend this place to anyone, fantastic beer garden and homely. I couldn't find a fault.
