Beautiful food, spotless shop, got two meals out of our purchase so very generous portions. Golden crispy batter, really fresh fish, and chips completely un-greasy which is helpful if you suffer from acid reflux. Perfection.

In Malpas on holiday for a week, called to collect a phone order, despite the large number of people in here my order was ready in under five minutes. We had Cod and Haddock plus Chips, everything was freshly cooked to order, the Chips were perfect, crispy outside soft inside with no 'scraggily' bits northern term which means the small hard bits that you can't eat. The portions are huge, Fish was white and fresh in a perfectly cooked batter. Without dought the best Fish and Chips we have had in years, will be back. The Staff were also great, the Girl who served me was very polite and efficient. The amount of people in there says it all, a business who actually care about what they are serving and how they serve it.
Had a fish chips and peas from here last week,I would go as far as to say probably the best fish and chips I've ever had.Batter on fish was lovley as to were the fish and chips not greasy. Will deffo be back soon well done and thank you
I have read the reviews and had to check they were talking about the same Chippy as I visited. The woman serving is the most abrupt and rude person I have ever met and the prices the most expensive. £1.40 for can of coke
