Best restaurant in the Warwick, Leamington Spa area! Excellent food and service. Very modern and novel dishes a d flavours. The tomato salad and trout starters were brilliant. Small portions but exactly enough to help you enjoy it.
Beautifully cooked food, presented with flair. The chefs are masters of flavour, balancing the accents with confidence. The service is extraordinary considering there are usually only 4 or 5 people staffing the place. Their 3 courses for £20 lunch menu is a steal. The tasting menus showcase their talents; great care is taken not to rush your excursion through the imaginative twists and turns. And a very clever drinks list. Do go, you won't regret it.
Quite possibly the tastiest food I have ever tasted. 5 star service as well. Want to treat someone like royalty? This is the place!
Absolutely brilliant. The food is always outstanding, with excellent menus and wonderful service. Price is excellent for the quality you recieve. Will always come back here.
Yes the portions are smaller and yes it is more expensive than other places. But all the courses are perfectly balanced, the taste is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. I skipped pudding and was still full. The perfect place for something a bit different and a bit special. Highly recommend, although it was a bit quiet on a Tuesday night!
We had a lovely time at the Tame Hare. British food at it's best served in a cosy atmosphere by a caring but subtle team. The wine menu is also very amazing and offers interesting and unusual choices by the glass. All in all if felt very consistent and everything made sense, the owners obviously put a lot of thoughts into their restaurant.
Delicious! Had the 3 course menu. Really tasty smoked trout. Bream was expertly cooked. All very well presented. Varied wine selection. Good espresso to finish. Friendly and helpful service from the young waiter.
Friendly waitresses and lovely dessert; really different choices available : Was really busy for mother’s day so we weren’t able to be seated early so had to go to the pub across the road for a pre-drink which was a shame. There’s quite a high step coming into the restaurant so a bit awkward if you have a disabled guest. The wine selection was good and the meal courses arrived at a nice pace. The beef was rare which I usually like but the quality of the beef would have suited being done a bit longer. Parking in nearby car park not a problem.
Brilliant place if you want top quality, fresh food with all sorts of interesting flavour/texture combinations. Staff are really friendly and clearly know each dish very well. Atmosphere is chilled and welcoming, as is the decor, and the view out onto Warwick street is nice as you take your time through each dish.
Some excellent dishes here. The apple and celeriac and the tiramisu really standout but the bream was slightly over. Wine pairings were well chosen and in particular for the two desserts. I think forcing both guests to swap dishes for just one required replacement is a little harsh but the replacement in this case winter vegetables to replace chicken liver parfait was superb so not much of a complaint In all there is no better compliment than saying you'll return, and we will
