I’ll start with the positives. The food was of a decent standard and arrived in a timely fashion, and both the atmosphere and the decor were pleasant. Negatives - on arrival the restaurant was at about 15-20% capacity, and there were about six serving staff on duty. Despite the highly favourable staff to customer ratio, it took 25 minutes before any member of staff attended to our table! It seemed the priority was not in attending to our needs, but to wonder in and out of the toilets and clear empty tables. The person I presumed to be the manager was wondering round in a bomber jacket which looked completely unprofessional (I suspect that prior to his shift he may have frequented the Zara Christmas sale). Coupled with having the personality of a pickled turnip, I must summise that he was either having a ‘bad day at the office’ or perhaps more likely he has made an incorrect career choice in choosing hospitality as his forte.

Had what was supposed to have been a meat lasagne but I struggled to find any mince.... Service was polite and friendly.
