This is a community run pub. It has such a lovely atmosphere. Food is always really high quality and reasonably priced. Staff genuinely care, and are always so friendly and welcoming. The beer is good, and they also have some good wines. Highly recommended!

Friendly place - nice food, nice basic rooms and near to the motorway. It is definitely a proper pub and not a chain or cheap hotel. I would stay there again, though the price of a room maybe a little high give that it’s a basic room.

Really great community run pub. We had Sunday lunch and the food was really good quality. Friendly staff and a busy but not suffocating atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Cosy and clean. No real breakfasts..packet breakfast in room, which wasn't properly replenished each day. No Wi-Fi, mobile or tv signal in the room. Nice flat screen tv in room was just for ornamental purposes...no signal. Food order took over 1 hr 30 mins to arrive on several occasions despite a gentle complaint on the first evening...not good if you're hungry. Shame as the food quality was good.
