We stayed one night at this hotel due to attending a wedding nearby. The staff were extremely helpful right from the start, allowing us to check in early and freshen up before setting out again. The manager also offered to make the (cooked) breakfast later to allow us to recover in the morning! Our room was a good size with lovely, large windows and a good sized bathroom. This hotel is exceptionally good value for money and we enjoyed our short time there immensely.

Just dropped in for Sunday Roast. A bit disappointing as it arrived luke warm with a very meagre portion of some veg - it was gone 4pm so maybe it was too late. Staff were obliging and warmed up gravy and brought additional potatoes but it all felt a bit awkward.

Popped in for Sunday lunch fully booked so had a drink, whilst talking to the locals, staff then cam over to stay that they had a cancellation, we then enjoyed a really nice lunch broccoli and Stilton bake was to die for and the roast beef dinner wow massive plate, very friendly place. We will be back thank you
