What A great establishment.   The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. The food was really good too. Good portions,  value for money, and excellently prepared. I am english but now live in USA, the visit epitomizes what an English country pub should be.

Having lost our way in country roads, we stumbled across The Saxon Inn.  It was a very lucky 'find'  Really nice, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and a lovely home cooked Sunday lunch.  Beer was great.   We will definitely try to find it again.
