Ordered the Pulled Pork Bun. When it came the meat was definitely off, by both smell and taste; not badly cooked, but very off. When I returned it to the kitchen, the chef said he was 100% certain it was completely good, and thought the problem was my taste buds! Apparently my mother and wife's taste buds had the same problem, and their sense of smell too! Waitress was nice enough, but after that, everyone made a point of saying that the food was fine but I had 'not liked the food'; no, it was off.nnNo verbal or financial apology; I had to pay for the replacement dish I ordered.nnWould not go back - a shame, as I'd wanted to like it.
Lovely pub, very welcoming. We had the roast. It was amazing. The beef was cooked perfectly. The roasties were crispy and then soft on the inside with a hint of garlic butter and rosemary. The veggies, Cauliflower cheese, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. Definitely recommend visiting for the roast alone which is only served on Sundays.
What can I say. The pub was empty on a Monday lunchtime yet it took 50 for our food to arrive at our table. Husband's chips were undercooked and the peas were nearly still frozen. The fish, though small was tasty. The chicken burger was cooked to death.nI very much doubt if we will return.
It's your standard local pub. We haven't tried the food, but it's priced how you'd expect, the staff are friendly. Nice outdoor beer garden.
Food and atmosphere was very good we had beef burger and pizza and was delicious and filling, staff very friendly, cleanliness of the table and WC could be better but nothing gross that will scare you away. Over all pleasant experience. I will recommend this pub .
