Very poor experience all round. The bloke who took our order was aloof and unfriendly. We came back after 30 mins and told to wait. He forgot to tell us it was ready so was getting cold. And the spicy fish dish was disgusting, poor fish lost its life to be cooked terribly. Told it would be saucy but it was just onions potatoes and fish cubes - no flavour at all. I’m very easy to please as well.

This was quite possibly the worst curry I’ve ever had. The pappadums to start were stale, and the main dish I ordered (tawa bhindi gosht) was overdone, chewy, fatty lamb coupled with a bland, undercooked sauce. I got some stuffed parathas as a side, which arrived burnt. I got them changed, but not before the waiter tried to convince me the burnt appearance was ‘authentic’. And after all that, the replacement parathas were tasteless anyway. My advice is to avoid this place - very disappointed.

Have been coming regularly to the Taj  Mahal, through out the year, both for takeaways and to eat in, for 8 years now. The food is always consistently good and tasty, and the service friendly and helpful. It’s our ‘local’ and We love it!
