Lovely little pub for food. We ordered the Hoisin chicken noodles from the specials board and they did not disappoint - the flavour was full on and loads of chicken! For dessert I had the rum bread and butter pudding which was superb sorry, picture is only half of the serving . Came across this place as was just passing through the town but will come again when in the area. Thank you for a lovely warm welcome.

We had a great late mid-week lunch at the Red Lion. The menu is a mix of traditional pub fare and Indian cuisine. Our 3-some had some of both - a cheeseburger, a butter chicken and a vegetable curry. The cheeseburger was a solid order - perfectly good and predictable. The butter chicken and vegetable curry were delicious. For dessert we had a chocolate pudding and an Eaton mess - equally delicious. Traditional pub atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming service as one would expect in mid-Wales. All in all a great stop!
Just popped in for food and was very welcoming and fun staff and also a good surprise from the manager with a strawberry and cream dessert as a birthday present. Food was amazing and definitely will be coming here againFood: 5/5

A great experience for our party of 6. Lovely butter chicken and kitchen we very amenable to our dietary requirements. My dog Monty was very well looked with treats and water brought over with our main meal! Raj was an excellent host and very attentive throughout. We would like to thank Raj for his service and warm welcome, he was very friendly and kept making sure we were comfortable and making sure we were getting what we needed. Joel, the chef just want to say you are doing a brilliant 7 Star job in his food presentation and taste. First time coming to The Red Lion and the service and food was beyond expectation. Will definitely be visiting again in future! Thank you!!
