Fantastic chippy just off the main drag. Food tastes great. I had battered haddock, chips and mushy peas and it was lovely. There is lots to choose from on the menu. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals, also. The staff are really friendly and engaging. You can takeout or eat in. The seating area is spacious and clean and table service is offered. Parking is on the road and is pay and display. Toilets available. Kid-friendliness: There is a section in the menu for children. Parking: Pay and display on the main road.
The best fish&chips we evere had! Cooked to fresh to order. Reasonable price for very good and tasty food. We visit this olace for second time and always coming back! Friendly staff with quick service. Fish is cooked professional and melts in your mouth.
Excellent service, very welcoming and friendly. Ordered small cod and chips, which would be plenty for most adults. Delicious meal.
We had a very enjoyable traditional fish, chips and mushy peas meal. Beautiful batter on the fish, good chips. Nice to see tartare sauce on the table! The staff were friendly and efficient, the food hot and delicious. We were in the smaller dining room, clean but not very attractive; the bigger room looked more pleasant. Toilets were spotless. Would recommend getting there early to get a table. Excellent. And at a reasonable price Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access through the rear entrance, from Lord street. Inside the restaurant might be a little cramped.
We always come here when we visit Southport. We've never been disappointed. The service is great, friendly staff. The food? Excellent. We love the steak pie. The portions are so generous I have to get a separate kiddies portion of chips. If you don't want chips you have the option of boiled potatoes which is very different for a take out. We love coming here. Great value for money.
Really gutted. After living in southport for 35 years finally tried this place with fiance on a wet rainy day we fancied a nice portion of chips and jumbo sausage. I waited in car as she ran inside and was suprised she came out asking for more money even though gave her 5 pound note. She cam back with jumbo sausage and large portion chips. Really overpriced and the portion of chips was like a small size anywhere else definately not large.nothing special about this place chips wernt great and tasty oily.
Just tucked behind the main promenade; We saw so many locals queuing up for takeaways and also eating in their restaurant. We ordered some takeaways for the family. The Cod is well cooked with light batter and nice chips. The scampi is freshly prepared and very tasty The homemade steak pie is a must try The service is good and very efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this restaurant if you in the area.
Fabulous fish and chips with enough to choke a horse. Fresh fish, batter thin and crispy! Quick service with a smile and great value for money.
Best chippy around! Staff are lovely, food is so nice if you want traditional fish & chips with a cup of tea! Would recommend to anyone & you can sit in to eat! Good old fashioned family business, love it!Food: 5/5
Called in for lunch today, we both had haddock fish & chips that came with mushy peas, bread & butter too full to eat it & we had a pot of tea. It was delicious, very hot & plenty of it! I will have a small portion next time Lovely staff would definitely recommend it. Thank you
