An absolute joke how rude and unpolite people on the phone are. Would never recommend to anyone to go and get registered with a GP to this place. Slow, inefficient and rude are just the small summary I can give of the service they offer.
Was great pre covid but now far worse. After you listen to the ridiculously long list of options on the telephone and manage to speak with a 'care navigator' then discuss your personal and sometimes sensitive issues. You might be lucky and get an appointment . A little birdie within the NHS told me that many GP's now work from home hence the very limited appointments . On a positive note..the practice nurses are excellent and still make you feel like a person

Firstly apologises for the mixed review, I appreciate everything the NHS have done over the past 2 and a bit years to get us through Covid, however… Trying to get results for my elderly father is near on impossible. We’ve completed a consent to discuss record form, but they still keep trying to call the wrong person. My father is not in a for state to discuss his results or care, yet the care navigators just don’t listen. I’ve wasted hours of not only my time, but the surgeries as well and we are still no further forward! I just don’t know what to do anymore, they either need to help my dad or help us cope, So disappointed.
I've just come out of hospital and was asked to see g.p for a few things. Got to North End to find they are closed for staff training, although on their website they state they are open! Training for what? They have been refusing to see patient's face to face since Covid pandemic started fobbing us off with telephone consultations. Why couldn't the staff training be done during the pandemic? When I was finally offered a telephone consultation it wasn't for another two weeks, well that's not good enough, and that's why I ended up in hospital! If anyone ever a face to face doctors appointment count yourself very lucky, it's like winning the lottery! Also it is constantly hard work to get past the pit bull recopinist who answers the phone anyway!
Do their very best to avoid seeing you, even if the hospital has insisted youre seen within a timeframe. Most Unsympathetic and difficult GP surgery you could ask for.
Dr. Nik was compassionate and patient in understanding the health issues I was facing, and the rest of the team did everything they could to ensure my health remained the number one priority. Excellent human beings who I owe a debt of gratitude to. Thank you !
The Dr today was really good! I explained to her that english isn't my mother language and she was patient in making sure I understood and agree with the treatment. I feel like I got the exactly treatment I need for my skin. The secretary was a big help too! She knows what she is doing! Thank you and never give up running like this, girls!
Very poor organisation, don't know their arse from their elbow. Must be one of the worse NHS sites in the whole country. Communication between departments is non existent. One doctor used to cover the entire MK18 area and cover it well, now there's 20 doctors on the list, the population hasn't risen 20 fold? They don't bother getting back to you, there's much confusion in reception about which app they actually use and try getting prescriptions delivered to your home, not possible as the swan practice isn't available to third parties online yet. It's the twenty first century and a tiny little town, how difficult can it really be. I'm sure they're happy to think all the current praise for the NHS staff is for them though. Dreadful.
My experience of this surgery is beyond words. Yes there is the odd administrative hiccup but the professionalism and dedication of their team of doctors is peerless. Sincerest thanks to this team. Every surgery should aspire to the standard that this practice sets.
