Dirty fries, high stacked burgers and lots of sides! A secret gem of wells and one not to be missed. You won't go hungry!
Amazing sweet dirty fries! Cannot complain at quantity and quality has always been great. Was made to feel very welcome even when there was no table and didn't have to wait long.
Rarely see a joint with everyone involved so enthusiastic! Always results in damn good food and great service. Always have a laugh when im here, keep doing what your doing.
Come all the way down from Bristol just to eat here with friends once a week has never let me down, the foods great, service is very nice and funny and the atmosphere is amazing!

Amazing decor, staff and food. Really welcoming staff. Great range of craft beers. We had a substack burger, two subsmoke burgers and a fried chicken. Bloody delicious. Got to say the best burger ever!! Will be back for cocktails and games room. Thank you for a great experience.
The family and I have just been to the subhouse for the first time based on the other reviews and we weren't disappointed!! The best burgers, chips and milkshakes around. If you are in Wells and fancy a burger this is the place to go
Tucked away quietly near the cinema and night club. The subhouse offers a welcoming change to the over bore that is Wells high street. Small inside eating area and outside areas coupled with a games room. The food was good coupled with interesting beers, ales and ciders. All in all defiantly worth a try if your looking for something different. I would say it would be more suited for the younger generation; like 18 -40 range.
The staff are lovely. The food is great try the dirty fries and there are old school computer games upstairs. I ate well and played Golden Eye on the N64. Ace!
