So much potential but just not there. Coffee is ok but nothing special, some proper barista training wouldn't go amiss. Food good but expensive for the simple things. Staff never really seem happy although polite, table service which can take ages to get your orders in if your not in view of the front counter. Steamy Windows so you can't see, it wouldn't take a couple of minutes to wipe them and it's not very warm in the winter. Could be so much better.

We came to Wells for the Reindeer festival and found Pickwick's nearby. There was a lovely menu that catered for us all 6to 66yrs and the service was good. The food arrived in good time even at busy times and have since revisited this week. The Pickwick has plenty of room for family groups.

Looking for somewhere to have a nice cuppa and stumbled upon this place. The staff member who served us was incredibly friendly and we talked about Harry potter as I was wearing a quidditch jumper. Harry potter being my total favourite. Me and my girlfriend had a cream tea and it is possibly the best scones I've ever had; and I make a point of trying cream teas everywhere !!
