Very helpful kind staff who were happy to let me try out lots of different ukuleles. They weren't pushy at all and let me ponder for probably way too long! until I was sure about my purchase. There was a large selection of ukuleles. I found the prices to be fair and sometimes even lower than large shops like gear4music. A very nice shop.

I just wanted to thank String Salon for an excellent service which was the best ever. The ukulele I ordered arrived next day, very well packaged and in perfect order. The staff were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable throughout the buying process. I have dealt with many music shops/suppliers over the years and String Salon is up there with the best. Well done String Salon, I can’t praise you enough!

I've bought several instruments here, from junior guitar and 1/2 size violin, through to violin, electric acoustic and high-end classical guitar. Always get great friendly advice and there is an excellent range of products. Opportunity to get instruments serviced etc at reasonable cost. Nice place to go!

I came along to the String Salon to purchase my first Ukulele. I was given excellent guidance and indeed purchased my chosen tenor Ukulele. My Uke was tuned for me and strap attached straight away. I’ve since returned several times for classses and Group strumming sessions. They offer an excellent service.

I made a decision 2 years ago to try and learn to play the ukulele using a gifted instrument. But after getting the bug I bought a new uke from the string saloon, I was well advised by the enthusiastic staff and guided with the selection. I still visit the shop for accessories and browse their substantial range of instruments looking for potential upgrades. I joined the associated tutoring/strum-along groups, became part of a band and embarked on a ukulele build coarse. From that early visit to the Saloon my social activities have taken a new and most enjoyable direction.

After deciding to sign-up for the ukelele adult beginners course, I've had great fun & really enjoyed learning a song-a-week. I look forward to the lesson each week & the teaching is relaxed & informative. Can't recommend this course enough for anyone that wants to learn the ukulele - what are you waiting for?

First of all this is such a well stocked shop.  I recently decided to enrol on a course to learn to play the ukelele and Joanne was very helpful and friendly, knows her stuff and was able to guide me to purchase the right ukelele for me.  I can't wait to start learning and the lessons are great value.
