The Strand has a nice outdoor seating area which really takes advantage of the good weather and the views. Staff were friendly and helpful and informed us that there would be a half hour delay with our food. In fact it came after about 15 minutes. The croque champignons was tasty and a bit different as vegetarian fayre. We enjoyed our meal.

Fabulous food and great service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shaldon.

Excellent service. Only had cake and tea but tasted great. Main food looks good too, I'll be back to eat later in holiday.

Visited the Strand cafe in early August and loved the whole place, Excellent view of the River, good service and great food, we will be back.
