You know it's good food when you want your friends' dish and keep yours as well. Also, the entertainment of watching other people tackle the seafood tiered platter. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about each of the dishes.nWe had the window seat with views out to the estuary. I am planning a return visit soon.
Arrived in the pouring rain, which luckily meant there was plenty of availabilitynnEnjoyed a superb dinner with service to matchnnMussels, terrine, lobster brioche roll followed by whole crab with fries.nnSensational!nnEnjoyed delicious baguette bread, butter, smoked almonds. Olives did not taste of rosemary or garlic so would give them a miss next time.nnEnjoyed lovely luscombe soft drinks.nnRecommend you go!nnAll dishes on the menu are seafood apart from terrine and steak
Only just found this place and will definitely be one of our go tos now. The service was fantastic, the setting is lovely and the food was beautiful some of the best quality oysters I've ever eaten. I will never tire of eating fresh seafood overlooking the waters from which some are caught, and this place massively fits that bill. Not the cheapest but that doesn't mean it's not good value.
The food here is top quality! Succulent fish, great portions, delicate flavours. It is on the pricier side, but it’s not hard to see why as the food was just stunning. Highlight of the week. The team went out of their way to accommodate my sister who has allergies. The cocktails were 10/10 and the hake in particular was exceptional. It was popular and the staff were just so nice! thanks for having us!
Lovely lunch for our anniversary. Fresh fish. Beautifully presented. Friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere with pleasant background music. Would recommend.
