On 28/09/24 my family member and I went to this restaurant we had a steak deal which was excellent ask for well done steak and it was perfect, apple crumble and ice cream excellent, and rum punch cocktail excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and excellent customer service. There is a disabled toilet on near the entrance otherwise it is three flights of stairs. We will visit again.
Fantastic Food. Superb Value. Wonderful Service. Happy Hour has never been so 'happy'. Thank You Anton, Thank You to the Kitchen Boys and Girls. The waitress service was well presented, smart, prompt and friendly. The food delicious steak medium rare the starter was unsurpassed lavishly covered in trade mark Stoke House sauce. Come here if you are here to see the theatre or a tourist in need of quality, atmosphere and food and drink at great prices. Happy Hour is 12-7pm and applies all food drink
Great vibe and absolutely delicious food. Our group had a variety of dishes from the menu from the Sunday Roast to Chacuterie board to kids Mac n Cheese and we all enjoyed our meals tremendously. Ideal location, wonderful service and a great place to share a meal with friends. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
The service and atmosphere was great. The staff were attentive and friendly. There's great decor in here. The chicken wings were very good and cooked well. The potatoes that came with the chorizo were overcooked and hard to eat. The salmon was super salty with the ceaser salad that we had.
We came here for Mother's Day, there was 5 of us for a Sunday roast. It was lovely, 1 ordered the roast chicken and the rest of us for lamb, 1 out of the 4 lambs was a bit overcooked, but the potatoes and vegetables were great. We all got the apple crumble and ice-cream for dessert. Not overly sweet, preferably would have like more crumble. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails Service was good throughout, we did have to ask for 1 or 2 items a couple of times because they were missed, but other than that, our waiter was wonderful. Overall we had a great Sunday lunch definitely would recommend.
We me and my wife had a quick dinner at the Stoke House. We ordered a salad and the baked camembert. The waitress was very friendly and the food arrived in no time. Both dishes were delicious just a little bit too much dressing on the salad but that’s personal preference. The price was solid but okay for a modern restaurant in an nice area. Just give it a shot - you won’t regret it.
My friend and I went after work for drinks, where one of the waiters his name was Giorgio noticed it was her birthday. They then came back a bit after with a plate saying happy birthday with complimentary ice cream and a lit candle. This was such a lovely gesture! The music and vibes were really nice too! I recommend The Stokehouse :Food: 4/5
Excellent food and service, Had the steak and chicken both perfectly cooked and tasty and two cocktails also nice. The waitress very helpful and welcoming. Did speak to the manager after to say we were very happy with the food. Will come again if in the area.
I visited without reservations on a Friday evening and was seated promptly. The service was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and the cocktail I had was exceptional. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Service was good. Ordered Sunday roast, the Yorkshire pudding was very tasty but the pork is little fat for me. Overall it is good.Food: 4/5
