When I was ordering food I got moved through 3 different tills. The food arrived and the waitress looked absolutely miserable. One of the meals was missing so I asked how long it would be and I was told that the meal wasn't on the receipt, so I went up to the bar to order it again and the woman who did the first order had the audacity to say I never ordered it. Maybe she didn't hear me whilst transferring to the 2nd and 3rd till but to say I didn't order it at all is ridiculous. After when all the food had arrived the two bar staff were talking and glaring at me which made me so uncomfortable I changed seats. The food was nice but was served on a breadboard with baking paper which my partner accidentally ended up eating some of whilst cutting up the chicken. Also I visited 2 years ago and when I went up to order cocktails they said they didn't do them, same again today, really need to take them off the drinks menu if your not serving them.
Haven't been here for at least 3 years, but decided to give it another go tonight. What a good decision! Wife and I had the 'Old Faithful' burger mine had an egg on top!. Go as far as saying these were the best burgers we have had in a long time! Followed up by sharing a 'Millionaire shortbread sundae' which was GREAT! Throw in the 2 free games of bingo for a 'free meal', a well kept pint of bitter, the welcoming and friendly staff, a very pleasant and very reasonably priced tea! We will be back!
