If you have not yet been.... go! I had the best burger I've ever had last night and the haddock was amazing! The staff really care about the guest experience and are polite and fast! I don't know why I haven't been before but this place is going to be a weekly visit now! Thanks chef :)

I had had hundreds of Roast Dinners in Pubs, generally you can make a better Roast at home, with better attention to detail. At the Star this is not the case. The Food quality was very good, we had 4 lovely dinners, terrific roasts. The staff were nice, attentive. Seemed to actually care rather than going through the motions. We liked the whole vibe actually. Definitely going back. PS. Yorkshire Pudding a bit overdone, but we overlooked that. Bravo

Lovely garden with kids play area. Food and service were lovely but no vegan options so one star removed for this sorry!

Very busy but still good service. Good atmosphere. Servers vety pleasant. Food tasty.  Would visit again

Great food and drink,  comfy surroundings and lovely ambiance. The staff are amazing - really friendly and helpful and they seem to stay. We've been going for a couple of years and see the same guys, still smiling, still helping.
