Had second appointment at the Gynaecology unit today. Staff were so kind and lovely. From start to finish. Attentive and compassionate. Reception team are also lovely ladies. For treatment and consultations I would definitely like to be treated at this hospital.
I've been under Helen Sheehan she has been my consultant over the years and she also done my op if you need a gynecologist consultant that knows her stuff and is incredibly compassionate caring and kind thoughtful then she's your lady .nI saw a horrible male before her for one of my appointments I left in tears and that was years ago and I still remember it now years later like it was yesterdaynI literally nearly cried walking back into the Leatherhead clinic for an appointment and seeing her sat back at the desk was such a happy relieve ,she also works at st helier and apart from one nurse all the staff that cared for me after my op there on the gynecology ward where fantastic .people fault st helier but my experience was great even down to the theatre staff that tried to comfort me when I panicked .nIf it wasn't for Helen I wouldn't be where I am now I will be forever grateful
I had an appointment for colposcopy. Walking in the 1st receptionist Jenny, was very welcoming and polite, giving directions as to where to check in. Going toward the 2nd reception to check in for the actual procedure, the receptionist was extremely loud asking so many personal questions, which is absolutely fine for the NHS record but there’s a way to do it. Someone could easily take the personal informations and do something with them. Also she kept addressing everyone as “darling” like not in a nice way, more rude way. Professionalism is very important.nnWaiting area was very clean and welcoming, toilet was also clean. The nurse who came to get me was very kind. Then nurses Daska and Edyta both assisting Ms Faizah Mukri were extremely kind and helpful throughout. Ms Mukri was an absolute delight, her approach was extremely gentle, lots kindness and very professional. She explained everything in details and answered every single one of my questions and reassured me. I felt i have been super well looked after by the whole team. Thank you so so much.
Have had several appointments over the last three months, and could not be happier at the service I have received, from the Consultants Nurses and Receptionist staff. Thank You All.
I noticed a huge improvement on the NHS service within the past 2 years, and I am very pleased with the service at Leatherhead Hospital! Thanks to the staff members and the Hospital management for the good health care they provided!
