Took our daughter for a birthday lunch after reading other reviews on line. Really nice looking pub with lots of parking. Food was superb and very friendly staff. Definitely will visit again when we are next in Northamptonshire.
ALL ROUND AMAZING!!! Have driven past many a time and always said we'd visit but never have. Spontaneously decided to try out their Sunday roast a few days ago and the whole experience was just phenomenal! Staff were so lovely especially the slim lady with dark blackish hair. The place looked fabulous inside and the food...the food was SO GOOD! Best Yorkshire puds we may have ever had. Meat was melt in your mouth. Root veggied were awesome. Will 100% be returning!
Easy to find on the main road through, and on the corner. The postcode via sat nav didn't take us straight there, but stay on the road.. Plenty of parking. Dogs welcome. A bar area , although it's mainly eating areas with tables. The food was nice and came out with rocket speed. Nice restaurant decor. My only criticism would be the attentiveness of the staff. Our drinks order was forgotten. Our sauces were forgotten. Then the wrong sauce arrived. We seemed to be served by 4 different people.... maybe have the same person serving the same table, then things wouldn't get forgotten!!!
Love this place. Very nice and cosy inside, great garden. Dog friendly. Good food, reasonable prices. Update 18.11.22: Yet another great evening at this place. Such lovely staff and great food. Doggy enjoyed his nicely selected treats. Thanks again guys
Took my mother in law here for lunch in celebration of her 60th wedding anniversary. Friendly staff and lovely food. Two people I work with are going to try it out this weekend after singing it's praise's.
Great find en route. Attentive waiters, food was very tasty and served timely.
Everyone loved their roasts and burger but my ravioli was very disappointing. The pasta and filling were ok, the sauce was just flavourless white sauce with so much almost raw red onion huge pieces too! it was a joke.
We had our dear sons after funeral reception here, the whole experience was as lovely as could be expected for such a sad occasion. The atmosphere and privacy of the Garden Room and bar was cosy and welcoming. The buffet was lovely. all the staff are warm and friendly. Thank you all. Louis and Barbara.
We called in a bit late but were given a table for a Family of 4 and 2 Dogs! The service was very professional and the staff were lovely. The wait wasn't particularly long and the food was fantastic! The menu was very diverse, lots of choice, the portion sizes were decent, I eat alot but didn’t make it to dessert. But the savoury tasted so beautiful I didn’t mind! the atmosphere is calm the music isn’t too loud, they just get everything right I’m writing this review as my family are eating dessert because I’m just so chuffed with the experience!
Beautiful pub with delicious food and friendly staff. We really appreciated the amount of veggie/vegan options and glad we found a lovely spot to sit in the garden and enjoy the sun with a cold drink.
