People have been recommending this pub for a while, and finally made the visit! It's way bigger than I thought, plenty of seating in the bar, restaurant, atrium or even outside! The inside is clean and well presented. Welcomed and seated by Roberto who promptly took our order for drinks and food. Our order arrived promptly, food was great and Mandy took very good care of us. Reasonable prices, good value for money. Highly recommended! Will most certainly be visiting again soon!
Well cooked meat in the carvery today and vegetables up to the same standard as usual. I had the ice cream sundae for dessert. It is weird to say the ice cream was too cold... the perfect temp for ice cream is -5 it just seems like it came out of a normal freezer at -20. Not a complaint as my freezer is that temp too but I like to let it melt a bit before I eat it
Ate here a couple of times while sorting my dad's wake. Once we ate from the menu, once the carvery. All were nice. Really enjoyed it. The food at the wake was really good too. They quietly tidied away without making us feel we had outstayed our welcome. Overall, great service and good food. I would definitely recommend it.
Went with friends for a meal at Russellos who are now based there. The meal was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had Battered Haddock, Peas and Chips which were cooked to perfection and couldn't resist a sweet so had Lemon Merigue Pie and Ice Cream, all rinsed down with a Pot of Tea between 2 of us and there was enough for us both to have two cups each. It was service with a smile and the staff were very helpful and courteous. It definitely beats many places locally and I would thoroughly recommend them.
Nice to see the place busy, friendly atmosphere, regulars and staff very welcoming. Steak was cooked beautifully, reasonable price and service was excellent. What more can you ask for?
Outside is a bit shabby with potholes and rubbish in the car park but inside is very clean and well laid out. Staff were always on hand and efficient. A hot cup of tea on a cold day was very welcome. Homemade Lasagne and pasta bolognese were hot, fresh and tasted like homemade. It was served within a reasonable time. Toilets were clean. We found it by chance as it is off the main road but it is just past the Nene Valley Crematorium, down the lane to the garden centre. Perfect for guests attending funerals. Menu is much the same as most pubs and prices are reasonable. 2 main meals and a pot of tea was £28.
We went there for a meal Saturday night, we ended up having the carvery which was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will go again and they do breakfasts from 10am, so we want to try them aswell.
I was very impressed with Miller The Carvery was excellant The staff were very pleasant and helpful The decor and ambiance was acceptable. I would definitely book again.
Great availability managed to fit us in Sunday lunch time with just a phone call. Bar/restaurant had a really welcoming vibe. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Carvery was lovely, a massive selection of veg too compared to other places. Good value for the price paid
Having booked in advance 3 days previously for 3 Adults ,2 , all seemed disorganised, seemed some of the staff didn,t want to be there, reasonable value and acceptable carvery, wouldn,t rush to return !
