Was not and place, the carvery was good, although the xlarge is massive! Small/kids will do most people, good range on and even through we were end of service on it it was very good. Service was a bit hit and miss, a few staff around but only one person really taking orders and not that attentive could have smiled as well. Good value menu and environment, so get what you pay for really across the board, from the clientele etc Seemed really clean despite how busy it was, and it looks like a nice pub. Had loads of parking available and good location if you're passing through.
So when I first got there it was very busy but I found a nice quiet corner. I then had to queue for about 20 mins to order my dinner but the lovely couple next to me watched my table. I was advised it was about an hour wait for food. It took about 45 mins for dinner to come. It was delicious. I had a burger with bacon and added a fried egg. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and it was well worth the wait. Very good value for money also and the staff were incredibly friendly. I will certainly be back when I am here for work next time!
We went to the play area where you pay £3 for each child and they get 1 ½ hours to play. We ordered food as well, which did take just over an hour to arrive but it was 2 meals for £11 which wasn't too bad. The food itself was fairly decent, standard pub food. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
The reception was rather cold, not a very happy member of staff. 18.30 and there wasn't any cocktails jugs available, so we had to purchase glasses. Sneeky really. The dinner was as expected but the butter chicken burger was drier than necessary. Possibly over cooked. The sizzle garlic prawns with vegetables and chips was delicious, surprising large quantity of prawns. Very nice.
Just had a party at Fuzzy Ed's! Brilliant service, staff are very friendly, helpful and fab with the little ones. Felt well looked after and all dietary aspects were taken in to consideration. The party food was very delicious, well presented and served at the perfect temperature for the kids to eat straight away. The party area was clean and spacious. Definitely highly recommend to anyone with small children looking for a play and party venue for a birthday. Great value for money. Thank you for all your efforts. Will be back to visit again soon!
We were served by Sharon & Nicola can’t completely remember the date. They are both always very welcoming and asked how we were, both are so lovely and polite with warming smiles. The service we received was great, both Sharon and Nicola always make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They always are up for a chat if possible, and work hard to keep customers happy. Thank you both!
First visit for many years for a family meal. Food was hot and tasty. The best Sunday carvery I have tasted in a long time! Its advisable to book a table. I would highly recommend going. I will definitely be returning
Lovely food today, not too busy at 1.45 pm, we shared 3 starters, breaded mushrooms, potato skins with cheese & bacon, & hunters chicken nachos, then skipped straight to dessert, honey comb sundae with strawberries, raspberries, & fluffy cream. The pub was very clean all through & staff were very pleasant & helpful.
Have been here several times with work and personally. The food was spot on each time only bettered by the service. Sharon and her team going out of their way to provide a warm and friendly welcome. Would recommend.
Great for play area for kids pay fee depending on or off term. However disappoint with foods. The wait was 30 minutes long even tho the business was very quiet. The foods was stone cold. Jacket potato was little bit raw side. Everything was just cold. My kid under 5 was exactly same. The apple pie with custard should give the warmer feeling, this was the worst apple pie I ever taste cold custard not hot pie either Was not pleasant at all. The staff was a little drop and go, no conversation or interate with customer. Just silent. Usually a good pub but today was very disappointment
