We’ve just arrived home after an amazing weekend and I want to go back!! The beautiful cottage (Kite) was very spacious with a large living room, kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding. The farm is extremely peaceful and set in the beautiful countryside. I loved sitting in the garden during the day, watching the wildlife and at night you can see every star as there’s no light pollution from surrounding villages. Despite being a hen party, Lucy made us feel very welcome and encouraged us to enjoy ourselves, which we most definitely did! Everyone enjoyed so much we’re already planning on returning with our families and dogs 😊 the nearest shop is a 15 minute drive away and the nearest pub/cafe is 20 minutes away. However, we didn’t need to leave the estate during our stay. We had a lovely bbq (built in) and the hot tub was just the icing on the cake! I was very sad to be leaving this morning and can’t wait to go back! Thanks Lucy and John xx

We stay at many Airbnb's but I have to say we've never had a host as rude as Lucy Lloyd. After we came out of the hot tub we found there was no hot water in our accommodation. Not knowing what to do I called the host who spoke to me as though I was inconveniencing her. Yes she told me what to do but her tone and how she kept talking over me as I was asking questions, saying "are you listening to me, are you listening to me". When I put the phone down my children who could hear her both said she sounded horrible. I later found some small print about the hot water in their guide, but small print it really was. We had every intention of booking an extra night as we were due to leave the following morning but after that phone call, we didn't book it. FYI for anyone who is planning on staying, you only get one tank of hot water per day as it is heated only at night, but for a place that offers a hot tub I don't think that is the best way as naturally you are going to shower more often than you normally would.

Having stayed in and around Llandovery for twice a year for ten years, this is by far the worst and most expensive place we have stayed. We stayed in Kite - the biggest of the cottages. Things to note: The most disappointing aspect was there are only skylight windows upstairs in all the bedrooms so you can't see out on the lovely views. Felt a bit prison like, glad we were only there for two nights. If you are a foody there is only a normal oven and one electric hob. It sleeps 11 people so not much room to cook. There are also 2 small half size fridges so not a lot of room to store food and drink for 11 people. The decor is very plain, basic and "cold" although the place itself is warm enough, unlike the owners who are very unwelcoming and accused us of stealing two towels only to find they had put then in a drawer. However if you're there for a stag or hen party then none of the above will matter!
