What an absolutely wonderful place. The rooms are all amazing. This isn't a B & B it's a very luxurious boutique hotel. Mark & Karen are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are some of the best I've ever had. Lovely comfortable lounge to relax in after dinner or a day out with a very well stocked honesty bar. Bed was super comfy. Great location. Lots of restaurants etc in Llandovrey for evening meals. Parking is on site. Thank you again for a wonderful few days. Rooms: Superb, comfy beds. Tea coffee etc and an amazing shower Nearby activities: Walking , sightseeing etc. Lots of information available Food & drinks: Lots of nearby restaurants for evening meals
Another excellent 6 night stay at the New White Lion! Beautifully designed rooms, very friendly hosting by Mark and Karen, and just a minute walk from the market square and lovely pubs of Llandovery especially Whitehall for drinks and Kings Head for food. Really enjoy the breakfasts and the lounge area with honesty bar is lovely to relax in as well!
We stayed recently and enjoyed everything about the hotel, from the welcome to the goodbye, all was perfect. Hosts Mark and Karen couldn't do enough to make our stay just what we hoped for. The quality of rooms, the details and little touches, all made for a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend the hotel and area where there's so much to explore and enjoy. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!
Fantastic stay at The New White Lion. Karen and Mark were great hosts, we recieved a really warm welcome and made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was amazing, from the comfort of the lounge and honesty bar, through to the breakfast room and bedrooms. We couldn't fault a thing. I stayed here for 3 nights as i was down visiting family, mark and karen were amazing hosts so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, such nice touches like chocolates in your room, honesty bar and coffee machine in residents lounge. Would highly recommend staying here and will happily book here again, almost forgot to mention their gorgeous dog poppy who was adorable
We had a fantastic break at the New White Lion. Mark and Karen were fantastic hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. The breakfast and afternoon tea were amazing. The lounge was really cosy with an excellent bar, and we slept like logs, in the super comfortable bed. I cannot fault the hotel and we will return.Rooms: 5/5
Mark & Karen were superb hosts and gave us a really warm welcome Our room was of a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness The residents lounge was very cosy and comfortable and the honesty bar and refreshments were an added bonus The breakfast was absolutely Both the presentation of our breakfast and front of house service in the very comfortable dining room was of the highest standard and one could not fault it. We found Mark and Karen to be fantastic friendly and welcoming hosts. Breakfast cooked to perfection. Very knowledgeable on local area best places to see ,scenic walks and pubs to visit etc. Rooms very clean with a unique feel. Perfect location for a weekend away / mini break.
Stunning rooms and Mark and Karen are exceptionally helpful hosts. It’s well located for local walks and has a Town Centre with welcoming pubs. It’s also easy to get to some great sights like Pen y Fan for longer walks with breathtaking views. I’m planning for our next visit. Rooms: Imaginative design to high specifications
