"On The Square Emporium is a true antique emporium. Over 12,00 sq ft of antiques and curios. From an Irish Georgian Chest to mid century table and chairs. Industrial lights to Victorian Taxidermy. The shop is vast and has nearly anything, but if you can find what you are looking for it can be sourced or made. On the Square offers a sourcing service and also makes bespoke furniture, from a side table to complete bar/restaurant fit outs."

Omg what an unit of treasures! Could have spent longer just admiring the throw backs, some weird and wonderful stuff. Just to imagine the history in some items amazed me! From peacocks to vintage jars, defo be back for a visit!
A very interesting way to spend an hour or so in Belfast. You can just wonder round the huge hanger full of eclectic ephemera and be amused and amazed by the random antiques, collectable, taxidermy, bar furniture, furs, china, glass... You name it. It's brilliant. But yes, as a previous reviewer says, it's expensive. If you are actually in the market for something weird or wonderful I'd try Rosses Auctions instead!
What a fantastic place! I have recently had the opportunity of exhibiting my work in this amazing business. The owners Jill and Justin and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Refound @On The Square upstairs on the first floor, have lots of sustainable and ethical product ranges and they also support the local art and craft community, with a range of art and handmade furniture. On the Square has an amazing range of wonderful and fascinating antiques. it's well woth a visit, if you are looking for a proper antique, some local art or just something unique and quirky! Support this amazing, local business.
Check it out. There's so much to see
I just love this shop.. could easily spend a day rumaging round, just when you think you've seen everything, another room appears! Easy parking right at the door. Was offered coffee, there are toilets, and the staff/owners are great fun to chat too. Make this a must go to place if you love antiques and unusual things..
What gem of a place could have spent all day here . Some really nice things ,
Brian helped me source a number of items recently for a café refurb we were undertaking in Cultra. Nothing was too much too ask. He really went out of his way to assist in finding us the perfect pieces. Would highly recommend On the Square :
Great place and friendly staff , I could spend all day in here
Simply incredible. The most eclectic beautiful nostalgic and enchanting environment. To walk into this place, and be warmly greeted by the staff, to browsing the THOUSANDS of items is an experice not to be missed. To see everything from old sinks to a 7 foot darth vader shows its a place for everyone. Will be back in a heartbeat. A MUST VISIT in Belfast.
Wow ! What an Emporium! Mind blowing selection of goodies to thrill any taste. My son had just finished telling me his dream home to live in...is an industrial type warehouse, we were heading back to Bangor, and I said well let me show you this shop you will be able to fill your warehouse home with it’s wares...On The Square Emporium! From the moment we arrived our eyes are feed with all manner of interesting things to spend our money on. We got chatting to a guy just inside the door and it turns out he was the owner, Justin is his name and a very friendly guy and was happy to spend time talking to us about the amazing things in his shop. If you like antiques, if you like collecting, if you like the weird and wonderful, the curious and the little shocking you will love this shop. My son came away more determined to find his warehouse style home and On The Square Emporium is going to be his first stop. It was a half hour well spent.
