Easter Sunday drinks with a view! Great Dorset pub, one of my favourites. Always a great atmosphere in the beer garden that looks out towards the sea. Pasties very good too - grab a pint of cider and a pasty and just relax!
A lovely country pub with loads of history and low doorways. It's seem very popular, selling local ales and food. It even has a small fossil museum. Will definitely be back.
Stopped in this pub after a long walk around the coastline, was not disappointed. The inside of the pub was pretty busy so we had to sit out, but there was a large choice of seating outside which was good. There's a healthy range of ciders, ales, lagers, and other alcoholic drinks along with steak pasties, homemade sausage rolls, and other vegetarian options as well. If you're lucky enough to get a seat inside, they had a nice log fire going which looked warm and cozy.
Busy quirky pub in stunning Dorset, amazing ales, lagers and ciders. Personally, I had a mix of 2 dry ciders, strongest I've tasted, but was scrumptious. Can highly recommend.
Popped in for a pint and a pasty on our walk from dancing ledge along our circular walk along the coast. Plenty of seats outside. Lovely views of the coast. Seemed very popular as busy but lovely all the same. Small free musuem attached which is worth a look.
Probably the most rustic pub you will ever go to! Food is home made pub grub, I recommend the huge and delicious sausage roll! The beer and cider are top notch, good old style stuff and top quality. The view over the cliffs and sea is wonderful and there are plenty of outdoor seating areas as well as indoor. The fossil museum was much better than expected too with done amazing local finds. This is a pub for the ages - do not miss it!!! Super dog friendly too.
Brilliant award winning interior, stunning views, expansive beer garden, and good menu of cider and beer, with pasties, veg pie or cake to snack. Up a lot of hills if cycling!
A truly excellent, independent, cosy and awesome pub. The sausage roll was delicious, the beers were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. We stayed for a couple of hours enjoying the place, the food and drink, and chatting with the locals. Definitely coming back one day!
Real ale gem providing refreshments to the weary traveller. Friendly staff working in a unique pub. Great for dog walkers and kids.
My favourite pub which I don't mind travelling to go to. Only problem with some of there alcohol selection you won't want to travel home after! Love all the home made ciders, ales, pasties, pies and Dorset apple cake. Really cosy traditional pub and it's no wonder why it wins awards. They sometimes have bands on which are great to see. Beautiful views from the beer garden looking over the hills and jurassic coast. Kind friendly staff. Added feauture of a museum attached to pub involving local finds. I'd highly recommend going. If I lived closer to village I'd be in the pub every day for my steak pasty and kiss me kate cider!
