We enjoyed our meal. Decent pint and good choice of wines for a pub. To my mind it's, ahem, a step up from the very acceptable pubs closer to the sea.
A very gastro menu & festive tunes at this time of year. Lovely
Amazing food. Great choice of beer. Staff super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the fish pie, shoulder of pork and beetroot burgers. Our waitress Clara was superb and pointed us in the direction of the Dorset apple cake....wow. Compliments to the chef
Superb pub! We're so lucky it's our local. The food is fantastic, the people are great and the garden is a delight at any time of year. Long may it's good reputation continue!

Great pub. Excellent variety of food, different from the norm all beautifully prepared and served. Particularly liked the fish dishes. Good atmosphere and super staff. Gets my 100% vote.
Firstly- very safe. Excellent mid range menu. They are not pretending to be an upmarket restaurant. Excellent beer. You need to book as they are popular.
A 'proper' pub feeling, but with restaurant quality food. Generous portions & tremendous value for money. In fact I don't know how they produce it for the money. All in all, exceptional
We have eaten here tonight for a family birthday while on holiday. The 1st and only pub visit during our stay. Staff were helpful and we felt very safe as all safety measures were being followed. Food was excellent would highly recommend
