Great and helpful staff in a well organised facility. We tried the snowboarding lessons and we are very pleased with the service and features of The Snow Centre. Highly recommended for families and snow lovers. However, please, remember this is not for experts, since the length of the experience could feel short. This is more for practicing and learning purposes.
I went here for my sisters 25th birthday and it was a delight! Our instructor was so patient and genuinely kind. It was a fun day, our group clicked immediately with each other. A great laugh and it was a workout! Came here for a 2h beginners lesson on a Sunday afternoon. Overal it's a great place and they did an offer for the first lesson which made it quite cheap. However group was quite large I think they have merged to classes together and despite having two instructors waiting time to do your maneuver was longer that I would like. So e people struggle more than others, so with a large group you tend to get a few people who slow everyone down and you can do less with your time. But center was really nice, snow felt real, and at the end we got very nice hot chocolate with a whiped cream and marshmallows

A great ski dome visit here at Hemel Hempstead. Get your ski fix on real snow on uncrowded slopes in the evening when I visited. Plenty of parking, rental and lockers included with your ski time. Went to Snow and Rock to purchase a Ski Helmet for my wife that had a full face visor they only had 2 in stock one was too small that we could try on the other was locked up on display a Salomon white / pink medium correct size Its Salomon top of the range helmet, however they would not allow my wife to try it on so they lost a Sale worth £300 silly Saturday staff for not addressing his customers needs. We purchased it from Cotswolds in St Albans who were very helpful.

My wife and I did some taster sessions as a series of group lessons. These generally work quite well, but you are totally at the mercy of what other numpties may be in your group. Some instructors are better at managing this than others, but it is cost effective enough that in our experience 2 out of 5 sessions leading to poor progress at the mercy of people who had lied about their experience was just about an acceptable trade-off. That's the first star dropped. The second star is that the evening sessions during the week were perfect for us as we work 9-5, but they have a significant drawback - General staff running the facility start tidying everything away about 20 minutes before the end of your session, so you lose out about 1/6 of what you've paid for.
Such an amazing place, couldn’t recommend it enough! Went for group adult beginner ski 5 hour course ahead of my ski trip and everyone was super lovely and helpful. My ski instructors, Lewis W and Simon L, were fab! Made me feel super comfortable and helped me reach level 4. The free lunch was also lush Looking forward to going back and hopefully getting through level 5 and maybe 6
