Had a good experience with them earlier in the year when we had bi-folds and a back door installed all Origin. We went with them for a new front door and window as well and that was not as smooth. Site visit for front door took place in April 2021 and told there was a four week lead time on door which was a straightforward replacement of existing. Installation due to take place 22 July 2021 over three months later. Fitters turned up and door was ordered with hinges on the wrong side and side window glass was broken. They had to order a new door from the factory which had a four week lead time. Fitters turned up with new door 26 August 2021 and when the unwrapped door realised it had no glass in it and that the side window was clear rather than satin as ordered. They came back the next day unannounced and finally did the installation and did a really great job. Update 3 December 2021 the fitter installed our satin side window so all finished finally! I have updated the star rating accordingly. Looks great just took a while to get there! Fitters are really great guys.
*AMENDING FROM 1* to 3* EDIT MARCH 2023 Since posting my original review below, Danny from First Folding has been very diligent in getting our issues resolved. Communication was exactly as you would hope it would be. Thank you. Had 2 windows and some large doors installed June 2022… still waiting for new parts and repairs to be made 7+ months later. Endless chasing is so boring, the after sales team are lacklustre at best! Our builder refuses to use them after numerous poor quality jobs in 2022. I would avoid and actively encourage people to go elsewhere.Service: Glass installation
High quality windows delivered and fitted on time. Had a slight issue with one set of fitters not finishing but they came back to rectify. The 20mm sliders we went for had an overhang that we weren’t warned about because of the height which takes away from the effect slightly and was a bit disappointing. Overall would recommend this supplier for a smooth ordering, surveying and fitting process whilst the windows look great
Updated. We had a very good installation experience with the product and finish both being of a high standard. We experienced an issue post-install of which 1st Folding Sliding Doors are being responsive on.
We would give 1st Folding Sliding Doors 10 stars!!! Their service was beyond excellent!!! Marcus, John and Zeus where the kindest workmen and had the greatest "can do" attitude we experienced during this entire project. They also did everything to not enlarge costs, and showed throughout a 100% dedicated mindset towards solving any problems, also after the job was completed. This was a job which included unusual shaped glass and risky circumstances. Professional, reliable, amazing work attitude, honest, respectful and very very friendly. Can not recommend them enough!!!
From start to finish the staff were all open, honest, friendly, professional and accommodating. They quoted a price at the start and it actually cost less. They said no hidden costs - and there were none. Refreshing! Plus - we now have good working sliding doors 35mm option. Love them!
Brilliant customer service from start to finish - the total team from consultation, fitting & aftercare. 1st folding doors have been professional, knowledgeable, given great advise and provided a great product The final doors & kitchen window met all our expectations and they have transformed our kitchen living space Would highly recommend!
