Great vibe, wicked tunes. Wish you could press a button on your table to get service, as the music is loud & staff are very busy. Would just make ordering easier. Staff are really helpful & friendly. If you go with friends who smoke, they cannot smoke on the roof top, have to go back downstairs in lift & outside. Didn't have food, but looks good from what I saw.
Located on the 10th floor Skylark Roof Gardens is well appointed but somewhat small. They have a mixture of seating including wooden benches, chairs and some upholstered seatings too. They have a mixture of covered and uncovered seating. They have good views over London but they do miss a view of some of the iconic London skyline. There also have a small half court Basketball Court. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provide table service so they could perhaps do with some more staff to reduce waiting times for your order. The drinks menu is somewhat limited and a bit expensive however that's the going rate in London. The atmosphere was very good with the DJ playing a mixture of Pop, Dance, Hip Hop and Club Classics. A special mention for Roberto, the Host Manager who did a great job in making our night a great success even with the rain and having to relocate all the rooftop patrons to the Huckster on the ground floor. All in all we had a great night and I will certainly be looking to return hopefully on a sunny day.
One of the best rooftop venues in a London! Amazing views of London, a great selection of cocktails and music to keep that summer vibe going. Definitely my favourite new summer spot!
Lovely vibe on the rooftop with a DJ playing. Came here with some friends and had a lovely time. Definitely recommend coming for some relaxed afternoon drinks.
Absolutely terrible from start to finish. Staff are untrained, cocktails tasted like pure alcohol, and the food a simple pasta and vegetable lasagna was undercooked and inedible. Do not waste your money here.
We paid reservations and went to the place on Sunday. They told us the event was cancelled and there was some technical problems, so we didn’t receive any notification. Obviously was very frustrating because it was one of our friends birthday and we all dressed up. The worst part is that we emailed them on the day to request the refund, and we still haven’t got the money back or any email. Won’t come back.
Received a call 3 weeks before my booking to tell me they would be closing the venue due to ‘Rain’. I asked what weather forecast they were using that they can be certain three weeks in advance what the weather will be like I’ll use it myself for future BBQs and events!. Then was told that they also had only sold two tables for they date. I told the lady that clearly the real reason my booking was being cancelled and refunded, was due to there only being two people booked in. She said ‘well no, if it wasn’t going to rain we’d have walk ins’ - so still sticking with the rain story. I wouldn’t bother booking with them again, nor would I recommend them to family/friends or colleagues. People are not silly, and I don’t appreciate having someone try to fool me into why they are cancelling my booking.
Stunning atmosphere. If you want to feel fit, flirty and fun at a rooftop bar in London, look no further.
Nice venue, although getting in a process we were herded around the downstairs bar area for about 10 minutes before we were allowed to enter the lifts to the roof bar. The drinks were average in taste, but ridiculously expensive £50 for a coattail jug that served 6 small glasses. The decor was intended to be instagram friendly and it served the, generally, early 20-something crowd. At 36, I was one of the old crowd there was no cover for the rain that threatened and the heating lamps that were dotted around weren’t strong enough and therefore served no purpose. the best thing about the place was the view
Attended a birthday party at this bar. Having read the reviews before I was apprehensive. Unfortunately I was proved right. A bar service set up to take commission on drinks just to avoid taking orders. Staff doing everything expect serving drinks. Poorly managed venue. Drinks were sent wrong one round of 6 drinks took 40 mins. Money taken upfront for tables food and drink but never served as you would expect. Had higher hopes will not go back
