Pretty standard for a Spoons bar. Some excellent drink choices, including some excellent real ales. Outside seating for the smokers, and tables in the basement for when the pub gets really busy. Definitely worth a stop in, if you need cheap but good food and drink
Great service. Can't fault anything. I ordered 3 small plates for £10 consisting of a ham and mushroom pizza, dirty fries and hot chicken wings. All was lovely. Whetherspoons always cheap and cheerful.
Good range of meal deals. Good beer plenty of other drinks, service can be slow at times but they are very friendly. The pub is big has an upstairs and downstairs. Turns into a nightclub in the night.
£2.75 a pint. You can’t argue with that. Feels like it’s the 90s again paying that for a pint a beer. I paid £2.75 for a chocolate croissant in Bushy Park and my daughter fed it to the ducks. I should’ve saved my £2.75 and taken it to Croydon and had a pint. My daughter might have had less in this pub than she did feeding my £2.75 chocolate croissant to ducks but at least I’d have a pint.
You can never go wrong with food from this Wetherspoons. I look forward to eating here again. Great location to have a few drinks and then have a filling meal. PS. There is a massive seating area downstairs. Meaning There’s space for everyone!
Place was clean, prices for lunchtime menu was reasonable. Food presentation was good and so was the speed of service from placing of order to food on the table. However, we couldn't get salt at the condiments table and when we asked for some from the bar we were told " there is a shortage of salt I guess sachets so there isn't any". Unfortunately, I ate my food but wished I could get some extra salt for my chicken and chips. Pity about the salt issue.
Low prices and nice drinks. A friendly, little local that serves food and drinks. Nice, spacious layout of the tables and chairs.
Nice lively, a normal party Wetherspoons. 3.5 stars probably. Downstairs bar has lots of seating, but only open in the evenings.
Full English Big Breakfast in Milan bar well the mushroom are too soggy should be drained off water I know the price reflects but presentations is important good try next time when I come again I want to see it giving your best to attract the customer improvement will be good.
Love it, cheap drinks, food ok n staff are always friendly! Fave Spoons
