Not a bad place to go and eat if your not in a rush. waiting for your food can be quire a while, can be hit and miss depending how busy it is. All in all though I've had worst other venues. Nice food and service.

Warm welcome, efficient and pleasant staff, who even took time to apologise for the place filling up after we arrived (things slowed down a little but we didn't actually notice the *wait*.) Our food was completely and utterly perfectly cooked and presented, with good portion sizes. A pleasure to visit; we'll be back without hesitation. ---------- * My couple of years-old review resurfaced here 2 months ago; it's nowhere near a true reflection of the family-friendly place we visited last week and my family has visited without me. (The management a few years ago simply didn't care about customers.) * OLD review, for completeness: We arrived with 3 people sitting at a nearby table. Ordered breakfast, my bacon had a few *old* carbon deposits, i.e. not simply overcooked meat. I was told the grill had just been cleaned before we arrived! Big sign out front states if you buy a participating breakfast kids eat free. Restaurant attempted to charge for 2x kids' breakfasts. Manager (in cellar) didn't break off telephone call to help settle the bill. We will not be going back.

Very Slow service, cold food and wrong food served, two staff with bad attitudes. Only the Manageress was a shining light amongst what is a very poor group of staff. Our experience was so poor that we were given everything on the house inc drinks.

Ribs, chicken and steak all cooked well and lots of food on plate with free salad too. Starters ok though a little on the expensive side for what they were(£8.49 for 8 slices of garlic bread). Staff very efficient and friendly.

Hit and miss with food, service is ok. Nice venue but has dark spots inside so reading the menu can be a challenge on some of the tables. The free salad bar was not fresh when we were there.
