A decent pub in heywood with a good selection of beers and a very good price on all the draught beers.
Great pub. Nicely decorated. Good selection of beers, good tibutes to some of the local armed forces heroes. A credit ! Spent a good afternoon talked to some of the local ex-servicemen. The plans they have to increase their displays are great. I will look forward to coming back to see how they have progressed.
Great atmosphere in this pub. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Sometimes the beers are a bit dodgy and give you upset tummy. Would suggest bottles or spirits. Overall though a good pub to visit
Great local pub. A true locals bar with sports on big screens. Landlord very accommodating. We had a baby shower on a Saturday afternoon and he kindly allowed us to take up a large part of his seating area with our party of 20 plus women while the horse racing and then rugby were screened on the tv! Really friendly staff even brewed tea for a couple of the non drinkers amongst us.
Great pub, great beer. Staff brilliant and always a good laugh. Wednesday afternoon entertainment. Saturday night dj and Sunday karaoke. It's my local and always feel welcome.

Still the best night out in Heywood!! Karaoke nights with Graham & Pauline on Wednesday and Sunday night are always fun. Rick is a fabulous landlord who keeps the pub trouble-free and clean.
