We are a traditional country pub/restaurant that specializes in serving quality assured and locally sourced seafood, cooked and prepared to perfection.
The Ship Inn is a delightful and welcoming country Public House in the village of Barnoldby-Le-Beck, located at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and approximately 5 miles away from Grimsby. The Ship Inn is known to have served the local community since Christopher Tupling and his descendants were landlords from 1730 through to 1900, the date that the Ship Inn was rebuilt. Customers over the years have been drawn from Merchant and Fishing seafarers of Grimsby, Aviators from WW2 RAF Waltham's Wellington squadron and RAF Binbrook's Lightning Squadron previously situated in nearby settlements. The Ship Inn has always served a diverse and interesting mix of customers who are appreciative of good wine, good company and good food. A tradition happily carried on to this day.
We are open 7 days a week, both lunchtimes and evenings while also being open 12pm through to 5pm on Sunday. We invite you to relax in our traditional restaurant and bar to experience some of the local culinary delights that Lincolnshire is known to produce.
