Story

Our Exclusive Chef/owner Mr Ali has been working in the Indian / Bangladeshi kitchen since 1987, where he has acquired experience to perform to perfection. His ethos has always been to provide quality, healthy Indian food. He achieves this by using the finest produce, cholesterol free oil, free-range poultry and a fine selection of spices.

My wife parked outside your restaurant at 425 pm using the spaces that she thought was for all the shops on the row . She was going to use the local florist to order flowers for her dads funeral . The older lady who works in the restaurant shot out and said the space was for restaurant parking only. We will be inquiring from the parish council to see if they do indeed own the spaces . My wife could understand this if the restaurant/ takeaway was open but it doesn’t even open until 5 pm . For a village restaurant very unfriendly . We do use the takeaway but shall not in the future .

Food Poisoning! Me and my partner had severe food poisoning for the last two days from the meal we had. I've ordered from these guys before and the meals were fine and am not the one to complain as i never complain on minor things , however to allow food to become that contaminated means there's been some serious neglect in the kitchen. I don't gamble with my health so will never use these again. Am certain this was from ali's as me and my partner live separately and we met in ali's that evening and never had anything together that day so it could not have been elsewhere. My advice is stay clear or you could end up enduring 48hrs of pure hell.

Visited a couple of times, the service & staff excellent, friendly, helpful. All the food delicious, very clean. Definately go again. Recommend to Family & friends.

Seated and served quickly without booking however the poppadums were cold and chutney tasted bitter as if it had been opened too long, chicken jalfrezi was burnt, blackened and totally stuck to the sides of the bowl, the rice was greasy and the red wine tasted more like sherry. The waitress who took our order without problem suddenly had difficulty understanding as soon as I tried to complain about the burnt food so we just paid and left. Not what i expected from reading the reviews Would never go again.

Very Poor takeaway Service This was my second time having a takeaway from ali's as the first time it was fantastic. First off the service is always friendly. This time however the food was not good at all. After waiting an hour for from the call to collection, which I don't mind as it is busy, I opened up my lamb garlic chilli massala and it was very watery with 6 small pieces of meet. The sauce had no spice and was bland it also separated on my plate as if it had been topped up with water. My partner had the chicken tikka bhuna which had the same issue of the watery sauce, even though it states it has "a think sauce" on the menu, she did however have plenty of chicken. It was not terrible, it was edible but just not enjoyable. Pretty disappointed and probably won't go back
